Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! Join me as I link up with some of my favorite bloggers, Erika, Narci, and Andrea

A few weeks ago, I found this blog post from Thirty Handmade Days about making an accountability binder for kids. Trip and Ari have been doing a great job keeping up with their chores, as well as tracking their allowance deposits and withdrawals. Got to get them started early with money management!

If you didn't get a chance to check out my post about Trip's Olympic themed birthday party, check it out HERE!

This quiz cracked me up- Robert and I are so confused about the Pokemon catching game!

And speaking of spending some cold, hard cash, this chica saved up her chore money and did some online shopping to purchase her first purse!

Prosciutto and gouda wrapped chicken kabobs are definitely a new favorite in our house! Yum!

One of my favorite snaps of the Roo this week- reading all of her books from the library.

I got my crafting pants on this week and made a wreath for our favorite neighbor, Ms. Susan!

Ari has keratosis pilaris (aka chicken skin), and her pediatrician recommended Vanicream. It has helped her some, but I've started using it every day and am loving it! It's not too greasy and helps keep your skin silky smooth.

We finally got around to framing one of my favorite artworks of Trip's- it goes great in our living room and has encouraged us to finish up our house! We even bought a few indoor plants to freshen up the space- let's hope I don't totally massacre them!

Last but not least, we went to our first Astros game with some of our favorite friends the other night! We had a blast, even though we lost- Go 'Stros!

I hope you have a great weekend, and I'll see you back here Monday for our weekend re-cap!

  1. Impressed on Ari's prowess as a saver and an online shopper at such a tender age!

    1. LOL! Her requests to look at purses on the computer were kind of out of left field, but I think I steered her in the right direction!

Hi friends! Let me know what you think! I'd love to hear from you!
