It's something I've been thinking about, and I'd love for other bloggers to get a chance to share their favorite recipes here on A Gal Named Al. Let me know!
I asked Robert what I should put on my Top 3 list and his response was, "Food, shelter, car." And, I'm sure a lot of people are going to write beautiful, emotional essays about their friends, family, and spiritual beliefs. Well, sorry y'all- you're getting the materialistic, narcissistic, and gluttonous side of me today! :)
I started coloring my hair the summer before my sophomore year of high school and continued to do so on a monthly basis for over 13 years. It was time-consuming, expensive, and annoying. So a few summers ago, I started using this spray from John Frieda. It did such a good job of covering up my roots that I quit coloring my hair and now use it exclusively. A 3.5 ounce bottle runs you about $10 but will last you at least 2 months, if not more. I don't use it every day, but probably 4-5 times/week in addition to John Frieda's Go Blonder shampoo. It's been almost 3 years since I've colored my hair with box color, and as long as John Frieda keeps making this, I won't be going back!
I ate Skinny Pop for a couple of months and when TRUTH BOMB: Kourtney Kardashian was purchasing Boom Chicka Pop on an episode of KUWTK, I decided to try it. Boom Chicka Pop is about the same price of Skinny Pop (I think even a few cents cheaper), and I like it for these reasons:
1) It's more bang for your buck- Skinny Pop is usually disappointing because the bottom has been crushed to smithereens in shipping. Boom Chicka Pop does a great job of staying fluffy and popped!
2) Fewer calories, less fat, more protein
3) The taste is just better than Skinny Pop!

I get a lot of questions about this necklace, and it's a purchase that I will never regret! I bought it for myself for my 30th birthday and reach for it multiple days a week. "Doodle" is my nickname for Trip and "Roo" is one of many nicknames for Ari. The necklace is small and simple and goes great with any outfit and can be worn alone or with other necklaces. I've had mine for over a year now and the quality is great!
I'm back on Thursday for Try It Thursday's recipe of the week: Spinach bacon chicken quinoa bake. Remember, don't be shy- let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in me turning Try It Thursday into a link-up party! Have a great Tuesday!
