I listen to the Today's Adult Hits Radio station a lot on Pandora, and this last week, the song "Setting the World on Fire" by Kenny Chesney and Pink came into the rotation. I had no idea it was Pink and started Googling to find out the female vocalist since I loved her voice. Low and behold it was one of my favorite singers!
This round-up of popular shoes from the 90s had me chuckling! I owned some of these, and I'd still wear the knock-off Birkenstock clogs if Target would come back out with them again!
Speaking of Target, my wardrobe is basically 95% Merona or Mossimo! You can check out my What I Wore link-up post from Wednesday HERE.
In case you missed it, this year was probably my favorite Halloween costume yet- KISS! Many of you know that Ari is OBSESSED with the band, so when she asked us to all go as KISS, we happily obliged. My glue gun is almost dead, but we had so much fun!
My friend Wendy tested out the Hocus Pocus s'mores that I had posted last week, and I think she did a great job!
Ari came downstairs after showering on Halloween with antlers on- ready for the next holiday! She decided to "decorate" me while I was working this week. Can't wait for Thanksgiving dinner to be over so I can put up my trees!
Ari's hair has really changed in the past year. We've tried It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Spray, Garnier's Curl Renew Milk Spray, Dove's Quench Absolute Detangler, and Living Proof's Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment. After reading so many great reviews, I picked up Carol's Daughter Hair Milk. Within 30 minutes of the first use, I saw fantastic results with Roo's hair. Beware- if you have extra fine hair like me, even a small dab of this will turn your whole head into a greasy mess!
Yesterday, I shared one of our favorite fish recipes, Robert's Brown Sugar Salmon. You can check out the recipe HERE.
And, because I like to grocery shop on Sundays, I thought it might be nice to share our upcoming week of meals on my Friday Favorites post in case anyone was in a rut and wanted some ideas before shopping and planning this weekend.
Sunday: Ranch chicken sandwiches
Monday: Tortilla soup - I'll share a recipe for this soon!
Wednesday: Meals (We have dance tonight, so it's usually sandwiches or freezer meals)
Thursday: Spinach bacon pasta
Friday: Beef tacos
Saturday: Pork chops with garlic parmesan quinoa
I hope that you have a fabulous weekend! See you back here on Monday for our weekend recap!
