Life With the Lees: Weekend Recap 1.2.17

Happy 2017! Thanks for joining me on agalnamedal.com in this new year!

I've been hanging with this guy watching a lot of Holiday Baking Championship. We're excited to start the new season of Kids' Baking Championship tonight!

The Roo has been playing with one of her favorite Christmas presents, Puppy Surprise!

We hit up the library for some new books and some relaxing coloring time.

Trip and I are currently reading The Chocolate Touch.

Lots of Legos have been built lately, and apparently a lot of naps have occurred, too!

Some photobombing has happened.

We paid a visit to Drew's Pastry Place for cookies, cake, and cream puffs.

I picked Matilda as the family movie the other night, and every one was mad at me and then spent the entire movie glued to the screen. They loved it!

We had a rainy NYE day and then spent the evening with good friends.

I'll be back tomorrow to kick off my Tuesday series, Tuesday Training. Do you want to get in your best shape this year and stay committed to your workout regime?  Follow along with me on Tuesdays! See you soon!

    1. Thanks! I wanted to join you but I have 2 pounds left to lose, so the payout wouldn't be big for me.

  2. Sounds like such an amazing weekend! I think it's funny they didn't originally like your movie pick. That would totally happen to me. Haha. Hope you have a fantastic week! Happy New Year!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! We had a whole 90s movie thing going on after that, and they weren't disappointed!

  3. I love that you actually take your kids to the library and you read with them! I feel like so few families do that in our modern world!

    1. Thanks! I hope they continue to be bookworms as they get older. I wish I made more time to read myself- hopefully in this new year.
