Life With the Lees: Weekend Recap 1.9.17

Happy Monday! I hope you've warmed up some since this weekend!

We've been playing lots of game recently, including a never ending game of Uno! A certain husband of mine who will remain nameless decided to turn against me as witnessed by my hand below:

On Saturday morning, I was greeted by one fully dressed kid and one kid fully dressed in a too small old Halloween costume and light sabers.

Apparently she's part vampire and likes to work on her tablet in complete darkness. (Now I know she is my child because I keep the lights off in my classroom 95% of the time thanks to the glare of the smart board.)

Trip and I watched the first episode of Kids Baking Championship this weekend, and he asked to bake something together. We tried a brownie bundt cake, and he put a spin on the original recipe by making a caramel sauce instead of a chocolate ganache.

Robert and I had an at-home date night and rented Bad Moms. I laughed A LOT!

Are you joining me tomorrow for the next installment of my Tuesday Training? I hope to see you soon! Have a great week!

    1. It's fun to spend one-on-one time with him doing that- his sister gets sooo jealous though and demands to help cook the rest of the week!

  2. That cake looks delicious! Such a good memory for your kids to have. I've been wanting to see Bad Moms, glad to know that it's really funny!

    1. The way Mila Kunis' boss treats her in the film is hysterical- reminds me of the fact that I'm not the young one in the school anymore!

  3. The brownie bundt cake looks so yummy! And I've been wanting to see Bad Moms. I've heard good and bad about it. I guess I'll have to find out for myself!

    1. It's pretty darn funny- brief nudity which is annoying - but my husband and I laughed so much. The credits are pretty funny, too!
