Ladies Who Link: Makeup Drawer

Hi! Thanks for joining me and the ladies of Moms' Coffee Date for our monthly link-up!

Today, we're talking about the contents of our makeup drawers. I'm going to spare you actual pictures of my makeup drawer as it is a total mess (I still know where everything is though!) This looks like a lot, but I don't wear all of this at one time. And as you will see, I'm an eyeshadow hoarder. I've never met a palette I wasn't willing to try out! I blame the girls over at EleventhGorgeous for this! Also, another favorite beauty blogger of mine, Maskcara, has great videos and products that you should check out!

CeraVe Eye Repair Cream My dermatologist has amazing skin, so I always listen to her recommendations on skincare products. I have to use an eye cream, so after washing my face, I always reach for CeraVe's eye repair cream. It's about $10, but I definitely get more than 2 months' use out of it.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion After moisturizing around my eyes, I use CeraVe's daytime lotion. I do a whole pump for my neck and then 2 small pumps for my face. It runs about $15 and lasts me almost 6 months. Plus, it has SPF 30 which is definitely a must if you're super pale like me!

Physicians Formula Powder Bronzer I use a bronzer and follow Cara's advice in THIS video to apply. The Physicans Formula compact is just the right color for me, and you can dip your eyeshadow brush in it to use on your creases for a more neutral eye. It costs just under $10 and will last you the entire year!

EcoTools Brush Starter Set I appreciate a good brush set, and this one from EcoTools is exceptional quality for being only about $13! I use the big face powder brush for my bronzer and face powder. If I use liquid concealer or foundation, there's a brush in here for that, too.

Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer in Yellow I was using the Maybelline Dream Lumi stick for my undereyes, and while I love it for highlighting, I have too much purple under my eyes. I bought the yellow cover stick instead and have been so much happier with my eyes. Some days you just have to think like an artist to paint your face to perfection, so if you struggle with purple, get some yellow to cancel it out. Seems weird, but it totally works! This is another cheapie for under $5!

Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer in Green I also have struggled with a lot of red pimples or just spots, so when I needed more coverage than the Lumi could provide, I picked up the green cover stick. I don't slather a lot of this on, but a little bit definitely helps. Same price as the yellow - just under $5!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer Well, I've mentioned it twice now, so what is it?! It's supposed to be a dupe of YSL's Touche Eclat which I used in college. I originally used the pen to cover pimples and under my eyes, but it doesn't give a whole lot of coverage, so nowadays, I use it for highlighting if I'm going to HAC. It helps to lighten up the nose, chin, and forehead, and it looks nice at the top of my cheeks, too! This sells for under $6, and I find that mine lasts about 3-4 months. I use the lightest shade, "Radiant."

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge I think I learned about this sponge from Cara, too. I used to use my fingers and wedge sponges, but sponges like this one are definite game-changers! I like the various edges that can be used for all the nooks and crannies of your face. I originally used it damp since I had watched several videos instructing me to do so. After watching the girls at EleventhGorgeous use theirs dry, I decided to give it a whirl, and I think I much prefer to use it dry these days. This sponge from Real Techniques is about $6, and it comes in various shapes, sizes, and packs.

Physicians Formula Powder Palette Multi-colored Pressed Powder in Translucent After getting everything concealed and covered, I set my makeup with this translucent powder. I used to use loose powder, but I've since converted. This compact sells for less than $11.

Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Classic Pink I used to own fancy department store makeup from Bobbi Brown when I was in high school and college. I've since found dupes for most of the products that I grew up using, and there's no way I'm going back to the fancy, expensive stuff! This blush from Covergirl is my go-to and replaced my Bobbi Brown "Nectar" blush. I often find myself feeling like I need to try a different shade and will use a coral, but I always go back to this one- it's become my signature and goes with so many different looks! You also can't beat that it's under $4!

Real Techniques Blush Brush I just got this brush on super sale at Ulta a few weeks ago. Before that, I was using a freebie Estee Lauder one that I got as a hand me down years ago! It retails for under $7, and I love how soft it is!

E.L.F. Eyelash Curler I know so many people swear by Shu Uemura's eyelash curler, but I've been loyal to E.L.F's curler for over a decade now. I even stayed with them when they jacked up their price from $1 to $2! Scandalous! It comes with an extra rubber strip, but by the time I need to change it out, it's just easier for me to buy a brand new one.

EcoTools Essential Eye Brush Set My eyes are my favorite physical feature. They've been known to make people swoon! No ego issues here HA! So naturally, I love to play up my eyes with eyeshadows. These brushes are a little shorter than most brushes, but they're great! I love the angled crease brush the best in this set. This whole set is less than $8!

Real Techniques Eye Smudge Brush Set I also picked up these eye smudge brushes on clearance at Ulta a few weeks ago and am in love! I love to use them to shade my lids and browbones, and just like the blush brush, they are so soft! The set sells for under $9, but I was able to pick up each brush individually for less than $3 each.

Maybelline The Rock Nudes Eye Shadow Palette  And welcome to my addiction...eyeshadow palettes! I picked up this palette last summer. I chose this one over the other color combos because it has golds, silvers, purples, blues, browns, and blacks. It's under $10, and I love that it comes with a guide on the back for suggested color combos.

Rimmel Magnif'Eyes Eyeshadow Palette in Number 3 I picked up this palette recently when I had some coupons to combine with a Target sale. I love navy blue shadow and like that this palette has multiple shades of it. The colors are really thick and rich. It sells for less than $8 and comes in different shades like neutral browns and golds.

Covergirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow in Urban Basics I can't find the actual picture of my favorite shades, but the Urban Basics palette from Covergirl is basically every color that I used from Bobbi Brown. Instead of paying over $75 for 4 shades, you can pay under $5!

Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 Redemption Eyeshadow Palette I bought this palette last holiday season and love all of the shades of gold shimmer. They pair very nicely with browns and navys, and the colors remind me of Bobbi Brown's shimmer brick. This is only $7! Sarah over at Making You Feel Pretty also recommends the brand's blush palette.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Crayon Eyeshadow crayons are my 2nd love! They are so creamy and easy to use! I've picked up a few from Maybelline the past few weeks and enjoy how chunky the pencils are. Since these are a part of their Color Tattoo line, the color sticks pretty well, so if you want to blend, you might try using Rimmel's crayons instead. These crayons retail for about $6 each, but they definitely are sturdier and have more color than the Rimmel crayons.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick I do love my Rimmel crayons, and they're under $4 each. However, they are TOUGH to find! I will sometimes stop into Walmart because they carry more of the Rimmel line than Target, but half the time, someone has opened and used the crayons. My Ulta also carries a very limited supply, and I had to return one recently because the whole top fell off during the first use. I do really like the color choices though compared to Maybelline's crayons.

Maybelline Volum' Express Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara in Classic Black I've been loyal to my pink and green Maybelline mascara for over 16 years, and every once in a while, I try a new version of the brand's mascaras. I'm currently loving the Pumped Up Colossal mascara! It is about $5 and comes in shades of brown and black. They also make a waterproof version, but I personally hate waterproof mascaras. I'm not swimming or crying all day, so I really see no point to it!

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in Clear My eyebrows are already much darker than my hair color, so I don't like to add any color to my brows. I've been using the clear mascara from Maybelline forever now to just groom my brows. I feel completely unfinished if I haven't touched my brows before leaving the house! This mascara goes for less than $5, too!

And that's a wrap! Tell me what products YOU swear by in the comments below, and make sure to link back up with us again next month when we share our go-to Crock-pot recipes! See you back here tomorrow for Friday Favorites!
