Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was a little warmer and drier than ours! Friday was our official Go Texan Day (Ari had it last Friday at daycare and then this week at school, so she got to cowgirl up twice!)
Shout out to Ms. Eunice! Ari has been asking for me to bake apple cake for a while, and my friend at school shared apple cinnamon muffins with us. An answer to her prayers! :)
I spent most of Friday night baking and getting things ready for Roo's birthday party on Saturday, including these elephant ear palmier cookies.
Trip had to test the decorations out!
I was up early on Saturday to reevaluate my food and decor set-up as we were expecting rain.
Another awesome school friend rode her motorcycle over to surprise Ari and her friends with fun photo-ops! Thankfully the rain held off until our guests headed home!
Trip played at our friends' house all day, so Ari wasted no time getting to work on her new Lego set.
She did the majority herself and had lots of fun combining her Lego sets. Apparently horses can eat pizza!
I made homemade pizza and cheese sticks for dinner, and then we settled down to watch the Ben Stiller classic, Heavyweights. The early 90s have provided some hilarious films to share with my kids!
It rained all day Sunday, so we hopped out to the grocery store in the morning. Do you remember rabbit feet keychains? Well our grocery store had a whole fake bunny on a keychain for $10! What!?! I thought the bunnies were super creepy looking, and these two thought they were adorable!
I played a Yes Mom while waiting to checkout, and they decided to take pictures of each other posing with a magazine. It's the little things in life, right?
We spent the day reading, watching movies, cleaning, and cooking for the week. Just 5 more days 'til spring break, and we couldn't be more excited! Hope your week goes by quickly! Join me back here tomorrow for week 10 of my Tuesday Training series- see you soon!
