Tuesday Training: Week 20


Wow! We're already into the 20th week of 2017?! I'm going to be completely honest with you right now: These last 3 weeks of school are insane for me, and I'm not going to be 100% on my workouts. I've made a deal with myself that I'm going to do what I can, when I can these next few weeks and then kick back into full training mode in June when I have fewer commitments.


One workout that is really easy to keep up with is an arm workout. This one seems all laid back and casual, but Holly Perkins is no joke! This is definitely not a beginner arm circuit! You'll need a pair of 5 pound weights, and you might even keep a pair of three pounders close by, in case you need to drop the weight part way through your first time or two.     1. Well, after today's lunch at work (fajitas, queso, and tres leches cake!), I'm rethinking the whole taking the next few weeks off idea!

  2. Such a busy time of year!! So many random things pop up that I get it's hard to stick to a schedule. I like the short, quick yet intense workouts. I will have to keep this on my list!

    1. We had an amazing teacher luncheon today, a breakfast yesterday, a wedding shower tomorrow- I think I may have to find the time to get back into my routine sooner than the start of summer! Yikes!

  3. I've so been trying to get to the gym 5 days a week..have successfully made it 3 times this week. This time of year things just get so CRAZY!!!! I keep telling myself I'm going to have more time when schools out and I'm not running kids all over the place.

    1. I've done very little the past 2 weeks, and yesterday I actually started to miss exercising! It'll be nice to workout for a longer stretch once school gets out. (And when I don't have the PTA feeding me awesome lunches!)
