Friday Favorites

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! It's been nice to get back to work, and I'm so excited to meet my new students on Monday! With the start of the school year comes the return of some of my favorite shows. So today, I want to share five of my favorite shows currently on my DVR!

1) Real Housewives of Orange County

You guys know that I live for all things Housewives, but I think I'd be content to watch the O.C. version all year. Love her or hate her, you can't deny that Vicki is pure television gold. "Why would you send a FAMILY VAN for 6 people!?!" This season, I'm still team Vicki and Kelly. I think Meghan is stirring the pot. Do you have a favorite wife this season?

2) Flipping Out

I've been a Jeff Lewis fan since the very beginning, and I've watched him on all of his spin-off shows, too. Basically, he's my spirit animal. This season has Jeff and Gage becoming parents, so it'll be fun to see how his overly sarcastic attitude changes (or doesn't!) when the baby arrives! Zoila and Jenny make for great sidekicks, and I love seeing how Jeff works his magic on some celebrity homes.

3) Wheel of Fortune

You may remember that I went to an audition for my favorite game show back in June (and that my mom stole my spotlight in the local newspaper!) They haven't called me yet, so I'm thinking of making a video audition to send in instead. Until then, Robert and the kids have me practicing 6 nights a week!

4) Below Deck

If Jeff Lewis' daughter inherits his personality, she may be just like Kate Chastain, my favorite chief stewardess! The woman can match a person's personality with a font! This year's Mediterranean spin-off was pretty stellar, but I'm so glad to have Kate and Captain Lee back in my life! Let's see how many people get fired before the end of the season!

5) Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky

Y'all. This is so bad but so good. I live for the regular Vanderpump Rules crew. Who wouldn't love almost 40 year olds still working a job most people had in college? Taking a California boy and putting him on his girlfriend's mammaw's farm in Kentucky? How could I NOT watch!?

What shows are you watching these days? Are you a Bravo-holic like me? Tell me in the comments below!

  9. Housewives is my Xanax. I'm even starting to like Dallas this year. Maybe I'm just hard up. Did you catch Luann on Andy's show? First time to your blog but not my last! Anyone who loves Housewives, Jeff, and Below Deck is my kind of blogger!

  12. Ugh I hate the entire cast of RHOC!!! Well wait I kinda like Peggy because she's not involved in the B.S. Really, Vicki?!?! Ugh she's so sleezy since being buddy buddy in that scam with Brooks. Tamara - grossssssssss! I'm watching Dallas and I think Vicki and LeeAnn should a have a show together. Housewife junkies UNITE!

    1. Peggy lied about having cancer herself! I was surprised that she just breezed right over it, and I just read somewhere that she and her husband have been divorced for years? I'm so confused by her! I love that she was an English major but doesn't understand any idioms, too.

  13. I recently got Netflix, so most of the shows that I'm watching are on there. I'm watching Jane the Virgin, The Fosters, and I'm re-watching The Wonder Years (which is as good as I remembered.)

    1. I loved The Wonder Years as a kid. I need to watch another episode or two because I started it up this summer and couldn't get into it the way I did as a kid.
